Assistant Cook

Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Cook to support the preparation of fresh and appetizing café fare that includes sandwiches, salads, pasta, and various Continental and Italian dishes. This role requires following established recipes closely to maintain high quality and taste.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare café menu items such as sandwiches, salads, pasta, and other dishes by strictly adhering to set recipes.
• Ensure uniform taste, appropriate portion sizes, and appealing presentation for each dish served.
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards in food preparation and kitchen workspaces.
• Properly manage ingredients, operate kitchen tools, and handle food storage to preserve quality and safety.
• Assist with daily kitchen prep tasks and help keep track of inventory.
• Comply with food safety regulations and keep the kitchen organized at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess foundational cooking skills with a keen interest in Continental and Italian cuisine.
• Ability to accurately follow culinary recipes and instructions without deviation.
• Previous experience working in cafés, restaurants, or commercial kitchens is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrate punctuality, dedication, and eagerness to learn new skills and techniques.

Compensation and Location

This position offers a monthly salary ranging between INR 12,000 and INR 15,000. The role is based in the Delhi-NCR region and requires on-site presence.
