Role Overview

As an Assistant Chief Butler, you will be an essential leader within the Butler department, collaborating closely with the Chief Butler to manage daily operations. You'll coordinate with various departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Engineering, Transportation, and Concierge to ensure flawless service delivery. Your leadership role will involve motivating and developing the Butler team, while upholding Rosewood's signature luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily functioning of the Butler services with a focus on consistently maintaining the highest service standards.
• Create unforgettable guest experiences by anticipating guest needs and ensuring smooth arrivals, departures, and in-villa services.
• Provide coaching and training to the Butler team to foster continuous professional growth and operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, generate operational reports, and ensure departmental communications are precise and consistent.
• Work closely with all relevant operational units to seamlessly fulfill guest requests, organize special events, and manage VIP and customized experiences.
• Regularly assess service quality through audits, inspections, and guest feedback, implementing necessary improvements and corrective measures.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in leadership or supervisory roles within luxury hospitality or Butler services, demonstrating success in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Possession of an accredited Butler Certification and thorough knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and personalized service techniques.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire, coach, and nurture a positive and professional team environment.
• Highly organized and adept at prioritizing multiple tasks, making informed decisions, and maintaining composure in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communicator capable of building constructive relationships with guests and diverse cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable utilizing hospitality management systems and technology to monitor guest preferences, operational data, and service delivery.
