Role Overview

Join Pfizer's pharmaceutical manufacturing team where your efforts ensure critical medications reach patients and healthcare providers timely. Your role is vital in maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards and supporting the delivery of life-saving treatments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute individually to team objectives, represent your workgroup in department discussions, and promote a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Manage and prioritize your tasks effectively, while guiding junior colleagues in organizing their workloads.
  • Perform assignments following established procedures, suggest improvements in delivery and processes, troubleshoot issues, and lead training efforts for team members.
  • Share expertise across multiple groups and deliver thorough technical instruction to peers.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex problems, making informed decisions within defined environments.
  • Operate under general guidance, independently complete repetitive tasks, and escalate novel challenges to supervisors.
  • Ensure that non-standard work complies with Pfizer’s standards and uphold internal guidelines and values with accountability.
  • Generate work orders and complete them with accuracy and promptness, maintaining safety and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) compliance.
  • Modify standard procedures as needed, discover opportunities for process improvement, and select appropriate methods for different situations.
  • Maintain precise documentation, track equipment use, assist supervisors with investigations and improvements, and produce reports to evaluate training requirements and monitor progress.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industries
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge and application of cGMPs
  • Strong analytical ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
  • Familiarity with standard office software and manufacturing operational systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and quality control standards
  • Knowledge of Pfizer’s Learning Solutions and Quality Tracking Systems
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Skills in mentoring and training less experienced team members
  • Basic understanding and curiosity regarding AI tools to boost productivity
