About Us

Role Overview

We seek a motivated and qualified professional to become a part of our Trades and Services team. Your key focus will be hands-on work maintaining and inspecting a broad range of Council-owned assets and facilities, ensuring the community benefits from safe, functional, and well-maintained infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include contributing to the care and enhancement of a varied portfolio such as council offices, community halls, parks, public restrooms, cultural centres, libraries, swimming pools, and surf life saving facilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Exemplify Council's core values: creativity, accessibility, respect, energy, and safety.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Class MR driver's licence and demonstrate a solid, safe driving history.
  • Previous experience conducting diverse labour and maintenance duties within the building sector.
  • Possess a valid Construction Industry Induction (white card).
  • Hold or be ready to acquire a forklift licence.
  • Have experience and comfort working at heights.
  • Preparedness to participate in on-call duty as per the roster.
