Job Overview

Camus Hydronics Ltd. (a Cleaver-Brooks Company) is seeking experienced Assemblers to join their manufacturing team in Mississauga, Ontario. The role involves assembling parts and components into finished products that meet quality and production standards. Successful candidates should have a sound mechanical aptitude, with skills in electrical wiring and plumbing, contributing to the company's high-efficiency hydronic heating systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct parts and sub-assemblies to complete final products per specifications.
• Perform electrical wiring assemblies in line with print instructions, using appropriate wiring tools proficiently.
• Use various hand tools such as drills to carry out mechanical assembly tasks.
• Engage collaboratively with team members, actively participating in problem-solving and improvement activities.
• Apply both mechanical and electrical knowledge to ensure correct fitting and assembly of products.
• Consistently follow safety protocols throughout all activities.
• Carry out piping and plumbing duties as part of the assembly process.
• Organize components from prior stages to facilitate final assembly completion.
• Inspect finished assemblies, parts, and products against technical drawings and bills of materials for accuracy.
• Report production issues promptly and assist in resolving them.
• Use creativity, adaptability, and sound judgement to achieve manufacturing objectives.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Preferably a minimum of two years' experience in assembly or manufacturing.

Work Environment

• Work typically occurs in a plant, shop, or field setting with normal conditions.
• May occasionally encounter slightly unpleasant conditions but little to no exposure to hazardous environments.

Compensation

The listed hourly pay rate is CAD 22.40; however, salary specifics will be discussed directly with qualified candidates during recruitment.
