About the Role
Franklin Water Treatment, a division of Franklin Electric located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is looking for a meticulous and skilled Assembler to join their Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality department. The primary responsibility is the timely and precise assembly of residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment systems to meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble various water treatment equipment or kits using supplied parts following detailed operating procedures.
- Operate a forklift safely across job functions.
- Work at multiple workstations to complete scheduled assemblies efficiently.
- Report any quality, process, equipment, or material issues directly to the Production Supervisor.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, guidelines, and regulatory standards aligned with Franklin Electric Quality requirements.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is dependable, precise, and detail-oriented, possessing a strong work ethic and commitment to craftsmanship and quality in assembly operations. The candidate must be capable of following detailed instructions effectively and ready to contribute positively to team success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 0 to 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role preferred.
- Forklift certification and 1 to 3+ years of forklift operating experience preferred.
- Punctual, reliable with excellent attendance record.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands
This position requires regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items up to 50 pounds, consistent standing and walking, occasional sitting, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, or ramps, twisting and bending movements, operating wrenches, valves, handles, and reaching above shoulder level.
