Job Summary

The role of Assembler I entails fabricating individual parts or assembling completed products in adherence to customer requirements. This includes ensuring the availability and proper use of the necessary components and supplies throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the workspace before starting tasks.
• Assemble components by fitting parts together precisely as per instructions and quality criteria.
• Use hand tools efficiently to complete assembly operations.
• Stack finished products correctly following established guidelines; this may include covering, labeling, and binding products as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and systematic workspace and ensure all equipment is safe to operate.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any identified issues promptly.
• Keep production areas tidy and orderly during and after shifts.
• Accurately maintain production documentation.
• Inspect incoming materials and final products for compliance with standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality procedures at all times.
• Engage actively in safety initiatives, continuous improvement programs, and team meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
• While no prior experience is essential, up to six months of experience in manufacturing or assembly is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are preferred for accurate work.
• Candidates must be aged 18 years or older.
