About the Role

We seek an enthusiastic Artificial Intelligence Intern to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions. This practical position offers the chance to collaborate with seasoned engineers and analysts on real-world projects, gaining comprehensive insight into the entire applied AI workflow, spanning from data preparation and model training to integration and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to building, testing, and refining AI and machine learning models and designing prompts for business applications.
• Support the embedding of AI tools within current business workflows and reporting frameworks.
• Assist in cleaning, organizing, and analyzing datasets required for model development.
• Work with cross-department teams to uncover opportunities for automation and increased efficiency driven by AI.
• Create clear and concise documentation of processes, experiments, and insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Investigate new AI tools, frameworks, and best practices, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Provide support for ad hoc data analysis and prototype development tasks as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or similar discipline.
• Basic familiarity with machine learning concepts or large language models.
• Proficiency in Python or willingness to rapidly learn the language.
• Experience with libraries and tools like pandas, scikit-learn, or large language model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication skills facilitating simple explanation of technical matters.
• A self-motivated, curious nature comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Previous coursework, personal projects, or hackathon participation in AI/ML considered a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using data visualization tools such as Excel or Power BI.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Interest in leveraging AI for business reporting or operational workflow enhancements.
