Role Overview
This position offers a dynamic growth opportunity for early-career professionals eager to accelerate their learning by building software with direct end-user impact within a small expert team. The role balances developing internal productivity software and contributing feature enhancements to the core product under guidance from the Lead AI Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement internal tools that enhance team and leadership efficiency, impacting company operations meaningfully.
- Develop product features aligned with the core software, collaborating closely with the Lead AI Engineer.
- Maintain a balance of rapid development and high quality by leveraging contemporary AI development tools.
- Produce detailed and clear documentation to facilitate future development by the team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing and delivering software used by real users, gained through professional work, internships, or significant personal projects.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles with clear understanding of the written code, including AI-assisted code.
- Regular use of AI-powered coding tools as an integral part of your software development practice.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively while independently taking ownership of project outcomes.
Experience
Typically between 1-4 years of software development experience, including robust internships or independent projects. The quality and impact of prior work take precedence over total duration of experience.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency across full-stack development is an advantage.
- Familiarity or experience in industries such as real estate, fintech, or data-centric applications is beneficial.
