About the Role

Join an emerging AI enterprise software company as a Founding Platform Engineer, collaborating closely with the CTO to architect and deliver the initial commercial product. This platform empowers organizations by revealing connections between their people, processes, and technology to pinpoint inefficiencies, discover automation opportunities, and enable AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop core backend services using Python and PostgreSQL.
• Create scalable data models and robust database architectures.
• Develop APIs facilitating access to organizational knowledge for applications and AI systems.
• Implement systems that store, version, and update intricate relationships within business data.
• Ensure security through access control and data isolation mechanisms.
• Establish procedures for deployment, monitoring, testing, and system recovery.
• Integrate the platform with enterprise software and external systems.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient backend development experience in Python with API and service design expertise.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL relational databases and complex data modeling.
• Knowledge of building secure, reliable production-grade systems.
• Ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions and own the process from design through deployment.
• Experience with knowledge graphs, AI platforms, or enterprise system integrations is advantageous.
