Role Overview

The Art Teacher plays an essential role in encouraging creativity, self-expression, and skill development in visual arts among students. They will create engaging lesson plans, demonstrate artistic techniques, and foster a deep appreciation for art across different age groups. This position demands a deep enthusiasm for art, effective communication capabilities, and the ability to motivate and inspire learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver captivating art curriculum lessons tailored to young student groups.
• Establish a warm, supportive environment that encourages creative freedom and artistic exploration.
• Demonstrate varied art methods, such as drawing and painting, guiding students on their creative journeys.
• Promote aesthetic understanding and appreciation of art among children.
• Educate students on the correct and safe usage of art materials and tools.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal development.
• Motivate children to express their unique personalities and thoughts through creative work.
• Assess student progress continuously and offer constructive feedback.
• Engage actively in campus activities including meetings with parents and celebratory events.
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned by the supervising Art Teacher.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Arts or a related discipline.
• Applications from fresh graduates are welcome.
• Experience as an art instructor supported by a strong personal art portfolio.
• Thorough knowledge of artistic techniques, art history, and current trends in contemporary art.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Patience, imaginative thinking, and a passion for nurturing young artistic minds.

Working Hours

• Monday - Day off.
• Tuesday to Friday - 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
• Saturday and Sunday - 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
