Overview
The ARCS Technician position is based in Shigri, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of access control systems, radio communication devices, security infrastructure, and related equipment. This role is situated within the Operations/Technical Services department and reports to the Technical Supervisor or Project Manager. The technician ensures efficient and safe operation of these systems, aligning with both company and client standards.
Primary Duties
- Install and configure access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, and communications systems.
- Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on ARCS devices and hardware components.
- Diagnose faults and execute repairs timely to reduce system downtime.
- Carry out testing, commissioning, and validate system performance.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation guides accurately.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety rules, industry benchmarks, and project requirements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance work and technical reports.
- Support upgrades, modifications, and system expansions as needed.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and clients during installation and servicing operations.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot urgent technical issues.
- Regularly inspect equipment and identify potential issues prior to failures.
- Manage the correct usage and upkeep of tools, testing devices, and company equipment.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or technical certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or related disciplines.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in security systems, technical maintenance, or communications.
- Preferred familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, radio communication, and network infrastructure.
- Proficient understanding of electrical and electronic troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to read and use technical wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Knowledgeable in safety standards and procedures applicable to this field.
