About the Role

MCA Architects is a prominent architectural firm known for their extensive portfolio of commercial, healthcare, hotel, and hospitality projects. They emphasize a strong design ethos combined with technical precision, responding diligently to client needs. The recruited architectural technologist will engage with multiple projects at assorted stages, which may include occasional on-site assignments.

Key Duties

• Create and oversee Autodesk Revit models along with detailed technical drawings for projects from inception through various development phases.
• Assist design teams in addressing and resolving issues related to detailing, coordination, and constructability.
• Produce precise and thoroughly detailed construction documentation particularly for expansive projects.
• Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external consultants to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Ensure adherence to BIM standards and maintain the integrity and quality of project data.
• Participate in enhancing Revit procedures and contribute to elevating office-wide protocols and standards.
• Provide support for site-based inquiries and assist during construction phases as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess 5 to 7 years of professional experience in architectural practice post-qualification.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit software tools.
• Have comprehensive understanding of technical architectural design and construction detailing principles.
• Experience contributing to large-scale projects in residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors.
• Familiarity with BIM methodologies and coordinated project management.
• Exhibit strong communication abilities and a team-oriented approach.
• Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and meeting stringent deadlines.
• Detail-focused with pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Experienced in compiling detailed design and construction documentation packages.
• Knowledgeable about construction site processes and practices.
