Architectural Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We seek a seasoned Architectural Site Supervisor with a strong hands-on background in Fit-Out, Finishing, and broader architectural site tasks for construction projects. This role demands 5 to 10 years of pertinent experience overseeing and managing architectural works on active construction sites, ensuring quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure proper execution of architectural, Fit-Out, and finishing tasks at project locations.
• Guarantee that all work aligns with approved drawings, project specifications, and requirements.
• Monitor daily site activities to assure continuous progress in architectural works.
• Manage finishing tasks involving walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, joinery, and similar elements.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and various site trades to ensure seamless workflow.
• Scrutinize architectural and shop drawings to confirm accurate onsite implementation.
• Oversee material installation, verifying usage of approved materials exclusively.
• Inspect workmanship quality and uphold established finishing standards.
• Detect site problems, defects, and discrepancies, and work with respective teams for timely resolution.
• Manage site inspections, Requests for Information (RFIs), and secure necessary technical approvals.
• Coordinate architectural efforts in conjunction with MEP, structural, and other disciplines.
• Provide daily status reports on site progress, observations, and issues to project management.
• Ensure that all site undertakings adhere to approved schedules and project criteria.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 5 and 10 years of hands-on experience in architectural site supervision.
• Demonstrated expertise in Fit-Out, Finishing, and general architectural works.
• Prior experience in construction project environments is essential.
• In-depth understanding of finishing materials, construction techniques, and architectural detailing.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and subcontractors effectively on site.
• Competency in interpreting architectural and shop drawings.
• Good familiarity with interior finishes including ceilings, flooring, walls, doors, and joinery elements.
• Experience in coordinating site tasks and architectural follow-ups.
• Formal academic qualification is not mandatory; relevant practical experience takes precedence.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a beneficial plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable working onsite and managing day-to-day construction operations.
