Role Overview
The Architectural Designer will play an integral role in shaping design concepts, producing architectural drawings, and managing project documentation for active projects. Daily tasks include aiding in design progression, crafting construction drawings, generating 2D and 3D representations, and assisting project teams during design evaluations and client engagement sessions. The position requires cooperation with senior architects and engineers to ensure compliance with local laws, building codes, and sustainability principles. This full-time position is based in Bhubaneswar and requires regular coordination with project stakeholders and periodic site visits to track design implementation.
Qualifications
- Strong grounding in architecture and architectural design, capable of developing effective and harmonious design concepts.
- Skilled in producing construction and technical drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
- Knowledgeable in urban planning fundamentals and their application in site planning and community-oriented projects.
- Familiarity with applicable design software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and basic 3D visualization applications.
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related accredited discipline.
- Meticulous attention to detail with robust spatial awareness and ability to clearly convey design ideas.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills suitable for multidisciplinary collaboration and adherence to deadlines.
- Understanding of local building regulations, standards, and sustainable design methodologies is beneficial.
