About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and meticulous Architect to join our team in Kolkata to contribute significantly to the design and execution of residential construction projects within the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize architectural designs including layout plans, detailed working drawings, and comprehensive construction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, landscaping, and interior design consultants to ensure cohesive project completion.
• Evaluate and approve architectural drawings, shop drawings, and materials specifications.
• Perform site inspections to verify that construction complies with approved designs and drawings.
• Diagnose and resolve design and implementation challenges in partnership with the project teams.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Execution departments to deliver projects on schedule.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, project criteria, and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain systematic documentation and manage version control of drawings and related documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of architectural design principles, planning, and construction detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software; experience with Revit, SketchUp, and 3D modeling or rendering tools is beneficial.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and specifications.
• Competent in reading and interpreting structural and MEP engineering drawings.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong aesthetic sense combined with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to prioritize and manage simultaneous assignments to meet deadlines effectively.

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Degree of Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from an accredited institution.
• Council of Architecture (COA) registration is preferred or mandatory as applicable.
