Role Summary

The Architect will contribute to new construction, prototype development, hospitality renovation, and adaptive reuse projects primarily across the United States. This role requires expertise in architectural design, visualization, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to support brand positioning and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 2D and 3D feasibility analyses for prospective hospitality sites, factoring zoning laws, fire access, parking, circulation, and setbacks.
• Draft conceptual site plans and architectural massing studies tailored to diverse site constraints and development projects.
• Create visual presentation packages illustrating project impact from multiple perspectives to aid municipal approvals, financing, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support strategic evaluation of development opportunities through architectural planning and visual studies.
• Design exterior façade concepts and transformative adaptive reuse strategies for existing hotels, including before-and-after visualizations for branding and investment purposes.
• Overlay enhancement proposals such as signage and architectural upgrades onto existing building photographs and elevations.
• Assist in evolving design development documents into detailed construction drawings, including drafting, detailing, and coordination with project and consulting teams.
• Collaborate across architects, project managers, procurement, and leadership to refine architectural materials and workflows.
• Employ visualization tools (SketchUp, Bluebeam, Photoshop, AutoCAD/Revit) to produce façade studies, diagrams, and presentation graphics supporting marketing and sales initiatives.
• Stay informed on emerging hospitality design trends, visualization software, and presentation advancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Architecture, or related discipline.
• Robust portfolio demonstrating competence in new construction concept studies, exterior visualizations, façade modernization, adaptive reuse, and detailed architectural documentation.
• Proficiency with SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and/or Revit, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Comprehensive understanding of architectural drawings, site planning, building elevations, façade design, and hospitality development processes.
• Capability to generate conceptual site studies and architectural solutions based on surveys, existing plans, site constraints, and development prerequisites.
• Experience supporting the transition from design development to construction documentation.
• Strong grasp of architectural scale, proportion, circulation, materiality, and effective visual communication.
• Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
