Role Responsibilities

• Perform on-site tree surgery tasks including pruning, felling, and general maintenance in line with best practices and safety standards.
• Identify various tree species and evaluate their health status to support surveys, reports, and tree management actions.
• Operate machinery such as chainsaws, chippers, and work at height with climbing and rigging techniques.
• Maintain all equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with company and regulatory safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to conduct landscape maintenance and participate in environmental and biodiversity-focused projects.
• Ensure accurate documentation of activities and maintain strong communication within the team.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Solid grounding in arboriculture with hands-on experience in tree care and knowledge of best practices.
• Competence in forestry operations including woodland management and safe equipment handling.
• Ability to identify a broad range of tree species and assess their condition to manage maintenance and mitigate risks.
• Certified Arborist status or actively pursuing certification, demonstrating adherence to professional arboricultural standards.
• Experience managing trees in diverse settings such as urban, rural, and landscaped areas, including planting, pruning, and removal.
• Possession of relevant qualifications in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, or allied fields highly preferred.
• Training in chainsaw operation, climbing, rigging, and safe working at heights, emphasizing safety awareness.
• Physical fitness suitable for outdoor work in various weather conditions and a valid driver’s license for site transportation.
• Strong teamwork abilities, effective communication skills, and a commitment to environmental sustainability and biodiversity preservation.
