Arabic Teacher

Position Overview

Sunbeam World School invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for a part-time Arabic Teacher role. This position involves instructing students in Arabic language within a supportive, engaging atmosphere, tailored to various learning levels, with flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Arabic lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary, and foundational grammar skills.
• Create worksheets and educational materials to complement lesson plans.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages effective learning.
• Collaborate with the academic team regarding lesson planning and student assessments.
• Ensure consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned academic tasks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic, Education, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Arabic language alongside good communication skills in English and/or Hindi.
• Effective classroom management abilities and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred; however, freshly qualified candidates with solid subject knowledge are welcome.
• Possession of additional credentials such as B.Ed./D.El.Ed., Arabic Language Certification, Diploma or Certificate in Arabic Studies, CTET/TET certification if applicable, international Arabic proficiency qualifications, or certifications in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign/Second Language (TAFL/TASL) is advantageous.
• Relevant online teaching or educational certifications will be considered a plus.
