Key Responsibilities
- Scout and discover emerging and new musical talent to expand the company's artist roster.
- Manage all artist onboarding activities, including securing approvals, facilitating agreements, and managing documentation.
- Maintain effective communication channels and build strong relationships with artists to foster collaboration.
- Oversee music release coordination involving artists, editors, designers, and internal teams ensuring seamless workflow.
- Collaborate with editors and designers to secure artist content such as artwork, promotional materials, and fulfill release criteria.
- Ensure music releases are processed accurately and delivered on schedule.
- Actively follow up with artists for necessary approvals, edits, artwork, metadata, and other release components.
- Conduct research on new artists, current music trends, and identify potential talent opportunities for the company.
- Maintain comprehensive records of artist profiles, releases, approvals, and communications for effective tracking.
- Work in close partnership with the A&R and music distribution teams to facilitate artist development and successful releases.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 1 to 2 years of professional experience in the music, media, entertainment, or related sectors.
- Have a sound knowledge of music release processes and artist coordination.
- Exhibit strong communication abilities and proactive follow-up skills.
- Demonstrate competence in coordinating activities across multiple teams including artists, editors, and designers.
- Maintain excellent organizational and documentation capabilities.
- Show aptitude in identifying new artists and fostering professional relationships.
- Display passion for music coupled with an awareness of contemporary music trends.
- Ability to operate independently while adhering to deadlines.
