About the Role
We are collaborating with Dwelly to recruit engineers experienced in building AI agents deployed in production, aiming to shape the future development of these systems. Dwelly integrates UK letting agencies onto a unified technology platform, leveraging AI to support tenant acquisition, property management, and financial operations. As Dwelly grows through agency acquisitions, engineering challenges include consolidating AI workflows, enhancing performance measurement, and developing infrastructure capable of supporting greater scalability.
You will become part of a compact team nested within a 20-person engineering department, engaging in practical development with opportunities to influence system architecture, deploy improvements, and monitor system performance in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and scale agentic workflows utilizing tools, structured data outputs, and task orchestration mechanisms.
- Integrate existing AI workflows into a unified, consistent system.
- Design evaluation methods and feedback loops to identify issues and enhance quality.
- Address operational challenges such as latency, cost efficiency, hallucinations, and system reliability.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to resolve challenges caused by rapid business growth.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years of experience in software engineering with a robust backend development background.
- Proven expertise in constructing and maintaining agentic systems in live production environments, including the ability to clearly articulate system design, user base, evaluation approaches, and post-launch failures.
- Practical experience in agent orchestration, tool integration, and generating structured outputs.
- Possession of a degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
The technology stack at Dwelly comprises TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Python. Candidates with backgrounds in AI-driven companies or startups where they have held full responsibility for delivered products are especially encouraged to apply.
