Job description
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Application Support Specialist will be responsible for handling employee requests and resolving application-related issues efficiently using the ticketing system. This role involves managing and prioritizing support tickets to ensure timely resolution or appropriate escalation. The specialist will provide clear guidance to employees on troubleshooting and effective usage of applications. Collaboration with internal teams is key for diagnosing and solving complex technical problems. Additionally, the role includes proactive monitoring of application health to reduce service interruptions.
Professional Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with users and teams.
- Strong understanding of business applications and user engagement.
- Experience managing and overseeing multi-environment configurations including development, staging, and production, along with the capability to create operational runbooks.
