Application Engineer

About the Role

We, at Anderson Greenwood Crosby Sanmar Limited and Xomox Sanmar Limited, seek an Application Engineer dedicated to our Valve Division located in Viralimalai, near Trichy. This role demands comprehensive technical expertise and commercial acumen in control valves to support customer needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotations aligned with customer specifications, including sizing and selection for control valves.
• Transform customer orders into precise and clear plant orders.
• Ensure timely submission of techno-commercial clear quotations to end customers.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to update on order statuses and project progressions.
• Engage in customer interactions regarding technical bid analysis and evaluations.
• Guarantee the selection of appropriate products using calculations that comply with customer requirements and applicable international standards such as API, ASME, IBR, NACE, and special testing procedures.
• Offer both technical and commercial support to branches and end customers.
• Generate competitive and accurate technical and commercial quotes.
• Efficiently convert customer orders into plant orders.
• Provide prompt technical clarifications in response to queries.
• Conduct technical discussions with customers to successfully close technical bid analyses/evaluations.
• Track inquiries, offers, orders, and their respective statuses actively.
• Ensure offers are submitted punctually following customer requirements.
• Possess a thorough understanding of all codes and standards relevant to pressure and safety relief valves.
• Compile reports on quotations, orders, and any post-order changes as required by management.
• Support branch offices with technical inputs as necessary.
• Manage projects from enquiry through to order execution smoothly, avoiding bottlenecks.
