About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Application Developer skilled in Java Full Stack development, located in Kochi, Kerala. This role demands over seven years of professional experience in building scalable enterprise applications, particularly with Java and Spring Boot technologies. The candidate will engage in the full software lifecycle including designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust applications while collaborating within Agile scrum teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-level application solutions employing Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Create and sustain dynamic, responsive user interfaces using modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React, incorporating HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Develop RESTful services and microservices to support modular and scalable architectures.
- Optimize and write efficient SQL queries and manage relational database design.
- Integrate applications and services ensuring seamless communications across distributed systems.
- Actively participate in Agile team rituals including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Utilize Jira software for tracking development progress, issue management, and task assignments.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices to ensure reliable deployment processes.
- Perform thorough code reviews, debugging sessions, unit testing, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software solutions adhering to coding standards and security protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrable hands-on expertise with Java and Spring Boot development exceeding seven years.
- Proficiency in at least one modern UI technology such as Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, or JavaScript.
- Strong command over relational databases and SQL scripting.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release management practices.
- Practical experience working with Jira for development tracking and issue resolution.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities coupled with strong debugging and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Working knowledge of JSP integration.
- Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and productivity enhancers.
