About the Role and Company

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on diverse household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, garbage disposals, trash compactors, and cooktops.
- Interpret and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot appliance issues effectively.
- Apply mechanical expertise to complete repair and upkeep tasks on appliances.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with residents regarding repair and maintenance procedures.
- Assemble appliances at properties as needed, ensuring proper installation of all components.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of service visits, repairs, and parts used for accountability.
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service quality and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of five years' hands-on experience repairing appliances.
- Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent level of education.
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment and compliance with company motor vehicle record requirements.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC is highly valued; EPA 608 certification preferred.
- Experience with sealed system repairs is advantageous.
- Prior field service roles, particularly with direct customer interaction, are a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with skills to troubleshoot equipment effectively.
- Driving experience with delivery vehicles or box trucks is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service capabilities and ability to explain technical details clearly to residents.
- General maintenance experience in related trades such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is an additional asset.
