API Tester

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced API Tester to design, develop, and execute detailed test plans specifically for APIs using tools like Postman and Rest Assured. This role involves working closely with multiple teams to understand requirements and ensure effective integration of testing within the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive API test plans using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Engage collaboratively with diverse teams to gather requirements and embed testing smoothly into ongoing development workflows.
• Write automated test scripts using Java to boost testing efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
• Evaluate test outcomes carefully, detect defects, and communicate findings promptly with relevant stakeholders.
• Take part in Agile practices such as Scrum to help deliver superior quality products within set deadlines.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of professional expertise in API testing, with hands-on experience leveraging Postman and Rest Assured.
• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline such as B.C.A., B.Sc., B.Tech., or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming for the purpose of scripting automated tests.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support efficient software delivery.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in any specialization including B.C.A., B.Sc., or B.Tech. are eligible.

Position is based onsite in Hyderabad, India.
