Role Overview
This position offers an entry into the dynamic SaaS industry with strong potential for a lucrative tech sales career. The APAC Business Development Representative (BDR) will collaborate closely with Account Executives to drive regional growth through strategic territory management and lead generation. This role goes beyond basic outreach, nurturing individuals into expert sales professionals.
Core Responsibilities
- Work strategically with Account Executives to plan territories and identify high-potential accounts.
- Employ a diverse outreach strategy combining cold calls, personalized emails, and social selling via LinkedIn to generate interest.
- Gain in-depth product knowledge of Lucid solutions to address challenges faced by IT, Operations, and Engineering leadership.
- Support and eventually lead discovery calls and presentations, advancing and closing sales opportunities.
- Leverage tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, and ZoomInfo to efficiently track and manage sales pipelines.
- Complete additional assignments as directed.
Candidate Requirements
- 6 to 12 months of experience in sales or customer-facing roles with demonstrated ability to meet targets.
- Strong communication skills capable of engaging C-suite executives effectively.
- Demonstrated openness to feedback and continuous self-improvement (growth mindset).
- Highly organized, adaptable, and driven to achieve results.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, with two days onsite weekly at the Melbourne office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in SaaS or technology-related sales.
- Proven record of exceeding sales quotas or building a robust sales pipeline.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience evidencing project completion capabilities.
