Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Annotation Specialist II to enhance data annotation processes and analyze AI outputs, specifically supporting training of advanced AI models. Joining a dynamic team of AI researchers and product managers, you will oversee annotation quality with your financial expertise, evaluate AI-generated results, and collaborate closely to maintain and improve modules assigned to you.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to curate, organize, and benchmark sophisticated financial datasets that enable fine-tuning of large language models (LLMs).
• Act as a subject matter expert alongside AI engineers to assess intricate model behaviors, identify edge cases, and reduce hallucinations in AI outputs.
• Develop top-tier data guidelines and validation systems to ensure production-ready Generative AI features meet stringent quality standards.
• Innovate annotation tools and data pipelines by pinpointing bottlenecks and designing scalable, automated workflows.
• Offer strategic recommendations to improve internal annotation platforms and data handling processes for faster, smarter operations.
• Serve as the final quality gatekeeper ensuring accuracy before GenAI features are released live.
• Continuously enhance internal tooling and workflows to speed up data delivery while boosting accuracy metrics.
• Regularly communicate project status and timelines to stakeholders.
• Keep up-to-date with trends in data annotation, financial data taxonomy, AI ethics, and emerging GenAI technologies.

Requirements

• MBA in Finance or a related discipline supported by an undergraduate credential in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, BMS, BBA).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in financial research, data annotation, or handling financial data operations.
• Deep familiarity with financial statements, corporate disclosures, earnings calls, and capital market mechanisms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multifaceted financial data projects with zero-error tolerance and strategic thoroughness.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial domain complexities into actionable insights for engineering teams.
• Capability to articulate complex financial and technical scenarios to research engineers effectively.
• Comfortable working efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with productivity tools such as G Suite and Microsoft Excel/Office suite.
