Job Overview
We seek a skilled Android Developer to create, develop, and maintain advanced mobile applications for the latest devices. The role involves designing architectures or building applications while collaborating closely with other teams managing various layers of the product infrastructure. Success in this role requires teamwork and a dedication to production quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert design mockups and wireframes into precise, high-quality, pixel-perfect code.
- Create fully operational mobile applications through clean, efficient coding practices.
- Manage the application lifecycle including conceptualization, design, testing, release, and ongoing support.
- Develop unit tests to ensure app robustness, usability, and reliability.
- Keep abreast of new technologies to enhance development efficiency and incorporate improvements.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership by conducting code reviews and sharing expertise with team members.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- A minimum of three years' experience in product development, software architecture, and design.
- Ability to implement pixel-perfect design integration.
- Experience in defining system architectures with an understanding of technical feasibility and trade-offs.
- Deep familiarity with Android Architectural Components and design patterns.
- Expertise in Android SDK across various Android versions and handling multiple device screen sizes.
- Hands-on experience with Dagger, Hilt, Coroutines, and MVVM; proficiency in Kotlin, Data Binding, LiveData, Room, and Work Manager.
- Working knowledge of common Android libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, and Architecture Components.
- Knowledge in storage management, threading, and performance optimization is advantageous.
- Experience connecting Android apps with backend services via RESTful APIs.
- Strong debugging skills, root cause analysis, and understanding of data structures.
- A proactive learner who continuously improves personal skills and process methodologies.
- Capable of working within agile teams as a self-motivated and responsible team member.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMP) or Compose Multiplatform (CMP) technologies is considered a plus.
