Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate mobile applications with embedded hardware devices.
  • Develop adaptive user interfaces derived from Figma mockups.
  • Engage in technical decision making, ensuring clean and maintainable code with peer reviews.
  • Keep updated with emerging Android development frameworks and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including iOS, backend, hardware, and QA.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Material3 design guidelines, Coroutines/Flow, and modern architectural patterns.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Android Studio, Git version control, and Jenkins Pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of unit testing and adherence to agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools like Copilot or Claude, along with the ability to critically assess their outputs.
  • Additional skills that are advantageous include Kotlin Multiplatform, Firebase services, Java programming, and familiarity with iOS/Swift development.
  • Language skills: Basic proficiency in German (A1 level) and advanced proficiency in English (C1 level), with confident verbal and written communication in both languages.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary paired with a comprehensive company pension plan and enhanced health insurance benefits beyond basic coverage.
  • High-quality IT and office equipment tailored to your preferences, including operating system and hardware.
  • Partnership with fitness facilities to support your health and wellness.
  • Daily nourishment options such as diverse lunch menus, fresh fruit, cereals, and office-wide chocolates to satisfy cravings.
  • Opportunities for professional growth through workshops, conferences, language courses, advanced training sessions, and webinars.
  • Convenient office location surrounded by nature, accessible via public transport, car, or bicycle, with bicycle parking and warm showers onsite.
  • 30 days of paid annual leave to recharge and explore.
  • Bicycle leasing program encouraging eco-friendly, healthy commutes.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangement, requiring three on-site days per week.
  • Discounted public transport tickets to facilitate commuting and travel.
  • Chance to impact the telecommunications industry by working on innovative, deep tech products with meaningful value.
