About the Role

Join Westpac as an Analytics and Insights Specialist where you will be integral to advancing the bank's key strategies by analysing data critically. Your insights will support impactful customer communications aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience and engagement by delivering precise, timely messaging.

Collaborating closely with stakeholders and team members, maintaining rigorous data quality and accuracy, and demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and sustain business-as-usual reporting activities while continuously seeking ways to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Support data needs for customer communications, including segmentation for targeted marketing and service outreach.
  • Convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications and communicate these technical approaches clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end customer communications projects, including translating requirements and delivering data-driven solutions.
  • Strong capability in handling and reporting on complex datasets.
  • Ability to forge and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in SAS or SQL programming languages.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in delivering presentations.
