Analog Layout Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Analog Layout Engineer with over 3 years of expertise to join our team remotely from Bangalore. This role involves designing and developing full custom analog and mixed-signal layouts at both block and top levels.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop full custom analog/mixed-signal layouts for blocks and top-level integration.
• Apply strong analog layout techniques for circuits including ADC, DAC, PLL, LDO, and bandgap references.
• Use industry-standard layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, and Mentor Graphics tools effectively.
• Ensure compliance with physical verification rules including DRC, LVS, ERC, antenna checks, and other validation protocols.
• Collaborate closely with circuit design engineers to plan, review, and optimize layout designs.
• Employ hierarchical and flat layout methodologies as appropriate to project needs.
• Manage tight project schedules and complex design tasks independently with a strong focus on first-pass success.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Practical experience with advanced semiconductor process nodes like 7nm, 5nm, or 3nm is preferred.
• Understanding of Electrical Migration (EMIR), Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), and reliability standards in layout design.
• Good grasp of parasitic extraction techniques and optimization strategies for improved circuit performance.
• Experience working in offshore development center (ODC) or remote team settings is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and documentation capabilities for effective team interactions and reporting.
