Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an Analog Layout Engineer skilled in full-custom analog and mixed-signal layout design at both block and top-level stages, with a strong grasp of design constraints specific to analog/mixed-signal circuits and the ability to work with advanced semiconductor process technologies.
Core Responsibilities
- Create and optimize full-custom analog and mixed-signal layouts in accordance with project specifications.
- Ensure high layout quality, maintain device matching, symmetry, and reliability consistent with design standards.
- Conduct Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), Electrical Rule Check (ERC), and antenna checks, driving the layout to closure.
- Liaise closely with circuit designers to address and resolve layout-related challenges and meet project deadlines.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design.
- Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso (XL/GXL) and Calibre tools.
- Knowledge of programming with SKILL language for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with components and circuits such as PLL, LNA, VGA, ADC, DAC, Serdes, Bandgap references, and LDOs is advantageous.
