Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, servicing, and inspection tasks per established protocols.
• Examine aircraft components including structures, engines, mechanical, and electrical systems within the authorized scope.
• Identify technical issues, perform defect investigations, and recommend effective corrective measures.
• Execute repair, replacement, and troubleshooting activities using official technical manuals and data.
• Review and maintain records such as maintenance logs, technical logbooks, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, maintenance schedules, and organizational procedures at all times.
• Detect and report any defects, damages, irregularities, or safety concerns.
• Collaborate effectively with maintenance planners, quality assurance teams, engineers, and technical staff.
• Support scheduled maintenance checks, component inspections, and facilitate aircraft return-to-service authorization.
• Manage proper handling and storage of maintenance tools, equipment, and materials.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards including Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and aircraft handling rules.
• Assist in technical investigations and root cause analyses for recurring maintenance problems.
• Accurately document all work completed, inspections done, parts replaced, and corrective actions taken.
• Participate in technical training programs and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Ensure maintenance tasks meet approved technical quality, safety, and organizational standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or recognized technical certification in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or related fields suitable for the role.
• Relevant professional experience in aircraft maintenance, systems, mechanical engineering, or aviation operations.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, engines, mechanical and avionics systems.
• Familiar with aircraft maintenance manuals, technical diagrams, inspection protocols, and documentation standards.
• Understanding of aviation safety standards and regulatory airworthiness requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to precisely follow technical instructions.
• Ability to collaborate with maintenance crews and other aviation professionals.
• Good communication skills paired with a strong professional ethic.
• Ready to work shifts, including weekends or overtime as per operational demands.
