Overview

We are collaborating with an international aviation company to recruit a Director of Procurement for their asset management division. This role offers an exceptional chance for an established aviation procurement expert to guide strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and supply chain management supporting diverse technical and operational projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct procurement and sourcing efforts for various aviation-related goods and services.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, including negotiating contracts and evaluating supplier performance.
• Assist technical and operational teams with procurement needs across ongoing projects and deals.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to guarantee effective delivery of critical products and services.
• Champion supply chain initiatives aimed at enhancing availability, reducing costs, and improving service quality.
• Identify areas to optimize procurement practices, supplier output, and commercial results.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within aviation, aerospace, airlines, MRO, or comparable technical sectors.
• Strong knowledge of aviation technical requirements and supplier markets.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate commercial contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder communication and relationship management.
• Familiarity with procurement, ERP, or supply chain management systems in a technical setting.
