Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emissions Monitoring Technician to join our Environment & Safety – Air & Emissions team based near Naas, County Kildare. This role involves performing accredited emissions testing and reporting, maintaining specialist equipment, and ensuring compliance with high standards such as MCERTS, UKAS, and ISO 17025. You will conduct site risk assessments, work independently and collaboratively to meet performance goals, and support the safe execution of activities at industrial and regulated sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute precise and technically proficient emissions testing across diverse client sites.
• Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with company policies while working on client premises.
• Support equipment maintenance, servicing, and calibration aligned with ISO 17025 and UKAS traceability.
• Assist with accredited emissions testing activities at industrial plants and regulated locations.
• Conduct thorough site-specific risk assessments post-training to enable safe operations.
• Collaborate effectively within the team and independently to meet company and client KPIs and goals.

Requirements

• Background ideally in a scientific or related discipline.
• Valid full driving licence.
• General understanding of environmental regulations and industrial emissions testing requirements.
• Ability to maintain composure and deliver under pressure with strict deadlines.
• Comfortable working at heights as part of field duties.
• Proficient in IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel and related Microsoft Office tools.
