Position Overview
As an AI/ML Engineer at Spait Infotech based in Ireland, you will be responsible for designing, training, and deploying machine learning models to solve business challenges. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions using Python and associated frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Construct and train machine learning algorithms.
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis to prepare datasets.
- Develop AI/ML applications leveraging Python and relevant libraries.
- Assess model effectiveness and optimize performance metrics.
- Implement models into production-grade software environments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including data science and engineering.
- Keep abreast of emerging AI and machine learning developments and tools.
Requirements
- Proficient in Python programming language.
- Candidates with up to 2 years experience or fresh graduates are welcome.
- Familiarity with foundational machine learning and deep learning principles.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Understanding of data preprocessing techniques and SQL querying.
- Exposure to natural language processing, generative artificial intelligence, or large language models considered advantageous.
- Basic awareness of API design, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes for ML models.
