Role Overview
We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer with between one and five years of professional experience who is passionate about designing, building, and deploying machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. The candidate will need strong programming capabilities, practical experience with machine learning frameworks, and comprehensive knowledge in data science, deep learning, and generative AI concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models tailored to business needs.
- Create and enhance predictive analytics, classification, recommendation, and forecasting models.
- Gather, clean, preprocess, and analyze extensive datasets.
- Develop deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers and software teams to embed AI capabilities into production systems.
- Continuously monitor and refine model performance to boost accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Apply MLOps best practices for deployment, monitoring, and governance of models.
- Work with use cases involving natural language processing, computer vision, and generative AI.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and detailed technical specifications.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- One to five years of practical experience in AI and machine learning development.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Good working knowledge of SQL and database systems.
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
- Skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and validating models.
- Experience using REST APIs and techniques for deploying models.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with generative AI, including large language models, LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases.
- Exposure to natural language processing tools such as NLTK, SpaCy, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Knowledge of computer vision techniques with OpenCV.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, or SageMaker.
- Understanding of prompt engineering and fine-tuning AI models.
Academic Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, statistics, or related discipline is required.
