AI/ML Engineer (LLM)

Overview

Cerebra seeks a seasoned AI/ML Engineer with deep knowledge in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to lead and architect high-quality production-grade AI solutions at our Mumbai location. The role centers on the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI applications across cloud and on-prem infrastructure, focusing on advanced AI technologies including chatbots and deep learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI solutions utilizing LLMs and Generative AI methods.
• Develop, deploy, and sustain scalable, production-ready AI pipelines and applications.
• Integrate cloud-based AI platforms alongside on-premises systems effectively.
• Lead technical teams in delivering AI/ML solutions tailored to organizational needs.
• Create and refine conversational AI, chatbots, and LLM-driven user applications.
• Apply deep learning and image processing techniques as required by projects.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to enhance system workflows and solution effectiveness.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers promoting best practices and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure applications meet criteria for scalability, robustness, and high performance in production environments.

Technical Requirements

• Proven practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong capability in building and deploying Generative AI applications.
• Familiarity with cloud AI services and managing on-premise AI infrastructure.
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks and neural network designs.
• Experience maintaining AI pipelines that meet production standards.
• Competency in conversational AI and chatbot development.
• Understanding of image processing within AI/ML projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred Expertise

• Hands-on experience developing and deploying LLM applications.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and integrating AI applications.
• Experience in AI model assessment, monitoring, and tuning for optimum performance.
• Knowledge of scalable AI system architecture and production deployment best practices.
