Role Summary

The AI Security Manager will lead EY Ireland's Cyber AI solutions for multiple clients across industries. Responsibilities include scoping and architecting AI security, addressing data privacy and security concerns, reviewing AI models for vulnerabilities, implementing application and infrastructure security, and handling compliance and risk assessments related to AI technologies. The role also involves managing a team of security professionals, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating on innovative AI security projects both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monitoring and analysis of AI-related security events and keep clients informed.
• Recommend effective solutions for complex cybersecurity challenges aligning business and IT objectives.
• Oversee AI security strategies ensuring cyber events are promptly assessed, mitigated, and reported.
• Manage delivery schedules and budgets, optimizing quality outcomes and resource allocation.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Expertise in data governance, privacy regulations, and AI risk assessment to safeguard sensitive information.
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and adversarial machine learning techniques.
• Proficient understanding of access control, network security, and monitoring methods for AI systems.
• Knowledge of ethical AI principles and regulatory compliance to promote responsible AI use.
• Ability to communicate AI-related risks effectively to diverse stakeholders and mitigate potential threats.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Security Engineer Associate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines; Master’s preferred.
• Demonstrated cybersecurity experience focused on AI technology and security management.
• Strong familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management methodologies.
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
