Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned AI Security Engineer tasked with protecting AI, machine learning, and Generative AI deployments across organizational environments. The role entails integrating security measures through the entire AI development lifecycle—from initial creation to deployment—ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of AI systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate thorough expertise in addressing AI security concerns, including risks linked to large language models, foundation models, data pipelines, and AI-powered applications. This opportunity involves actively shaping AI security strategy at the enterprise level to safeguard vital assets against advancing threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed security evaluations and threat modeling for AI, machine learning, Generative AI, and LLM-based technologies to uncover vulnerabilities and formulate risk-reduction methods.
• Develop and implement robust AI security mechanisms, including safeguards and monitoring functions designed to detect and thwart hostile activities.
• Lead AI-focused red-team operations, tackling challenges such as prompt injections, jailbreak actions, model tampering, data exfiltration, and adversarial threats to assess system defenses.
• Ensure comprehensive protection throughout the AI model's lifecycle—from development and training to deployment and maintenance—adhering strictly to security protocols.
• Integrate security controls into AI continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines alongside configuration management practices to support secure, streamlined releases.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including data scientists, AI engineers, architects, governance, and risk management—to craft and uphold security standards tailored for AI solutions.
• Formulate and enforce AI security policies, design patterns, and control prerequisites that align with the organization's governance framework.
• Continuously monitor emerging AI cyber threats and enhance defense tactics, testing methods, and incident response approaches.
• Champion the secure, responsible implementation of AI technologies across the enterprise, maintaining compliance with regulations and mitigating risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least eight years of professional experience in security engineering with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning security.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are highly preferred.
• Cloud security credentials from major providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) are advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of AI governance, model risk oversight, and secure software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, and securing CI/CD workflows is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills essential for collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
