AI Product Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for an AI Product Manager to take full ownership of AI-driven product areas from concept to delivery. This position bridges the gap between AI model capabilities, user experience design, and business objectives to deploy AI functionalities that provide real value beyond just impressive demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the roadmap and strategic direction for AI-powered product segments.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers on tasks such as model selection, fine-tuning, and performance evaluation.
• Establish success metrics that reflect both product quality and business outcomes.
• Conduct user research to identify and prioritize AI use cases with significant impact.
• Manage product launches with attention to ethical AI practices and coordinated rollout processes.
• Clearly communicate AI-related features, capabilities, and limitations to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 4 years experience in product management, including at least 1 year focused on AI/ML products.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary AI techniques such as large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning methods, and model evaluation.
• Strong written communication skills for producing product requirement documents (PRDs) and strategic narratives.
• Experience with product analytics platforms and conducting experimentation.
• Technical proficiency enabling effective collaboration with machine learning teams.
• A pragmatic approach to shipping products while being mindful of model limitations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience, qualifications, and location, broadly in the range of $130,000 to $200,000 USD equivalent.
