Role Overview

The AI-Native Lead functions as a technical authority and project driver, embedding AI and Generative AI into engineering processes by default. Responsibilities include leading full-stack teams, defining technical direction, promoting best practices, and applying Palo IT's Gen-E2 methodology to ensure high-quality, efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project technical direction and engineering roadmaps.
• Provide full-stack expertise and establish standards for code quality and performance.
• Guide technical decisions and offer architecture and code feedback.
• Ensure delivery excellence with automation, integration, and monitoring.
• Promote adoption of AI-assisted development, including prompt engineering, code review policies, validation, and responsible AI use.
• Mentor and manage engineering teams, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation.
• Engage with clients to understand challenges and co-design technical solutions.
• Collaborate on sales proposals and reuse of development assets to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to Palo IT's thought leadership through research and experimentation.

Required Experience and Skills

• Over 10 years of hands-on software development, including recent experience in client and team leadership.
• Demonstrated mentorship and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency in full-stack technologies, preferably ReactJS for front end and NodeJS, Java, or Python for backend.
• Experience building scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture and programming principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
• Practical, daily use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Established expertise in prompt and context engineering, defining and enforcing AI best practices, and coaching teams on responsible AI use.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to emerging technologies like decentralized identity, real-time cross-border payments, quantum computing, or advanced smart contracts.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Mobile development experience (Swift, Android, native or hybrid apps).
• Certification in Anthropic's Claude AI is advantageous.
