Role Overview

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the AI Enablement Lead is pivotal in driving the secure, practical, and value-driven integration of Artificial Intelligence throughout Georgiou. This role collaborates extensively across IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Risk, operational sectors, and the AI Steering Committee to convert approved AI initiatives into scalable, secure, and maintainable business solutions. The focus lies in overcoming technical, operational, and integration challenges hindering AI movement from concept to business use.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate deployment, integration, and expansion of authorized AI projects enterprise-wide.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, data access, integration demands, and sustainability for AI-related use cases.
• Liaise with IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Risk, and operational stakeholders to guarantee compliant and secure AI implementation.
• Support AI-enhanced workflows, automation initiatives, and agentic AI functionalities.
• Guide business units to evolve AI concepts from pilots to operational use.
• Create AI playbooks, prompt guides, governance structures, and safe usage policies.
• Lead AI training, adoption awareness, and capacity building across corporate and project teams.
• Contribute to AI governance, acceptable usage policies, and responsible AI practices.
• Assess AI platforms, vendors, and tooling with attention to security, privacy, scalability, and business factors.
• Monitor AI adoption rates, platform performance, user feedback, and pinpoint areas for continuous enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record in digital transformation, automation, business process improvements, or technology-driven change.
• Solid grasp of AI and Generative AI concepts, including their capabilities, associated risks, and constraints.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms, APIs, workflow automation, or AI-enabled applications.
• Excellent ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Competent in translating business challenges into implementable solutions.
• Strong written communication skills, capable of preparing executive reports and business cases.
• Experience in managing change, adoption strategies, training, or skills enhancement initiatives.
• Commercial insight to evaluate value, effort, risk, and return on investment.
• Background in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project-driven settings is advantageous.
