Job Overview
Become an AI Developer working at our locations in Nuremberg, Deggendorf, or Munich, helping us transform industrial procurement sustainably through continuous development of our AI platform.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of the entire software pipeline.
- Develop and enhance our production software systems.
- Collaborate with the team on architecture and design decisions to deliver clean, future-proof technical solutions.
- Design, train, and integrate machine learning models into production applications including APIs, pipelines, and services.
- Work on computer vision applications related to documents, images, layout, and OCR-oriented tasks, as well as graph neural networks for complex structures.
- Evaluate contemporary machine learning techniques such as classical ML, deep learning, and multimodal foundation models, implementing them pragmatically.
- Partner closely with Product and Business teams to translate requirements into practical AI-driven solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics or a related field.
- Minimum of five years professional experience as a software developer with hands-on involvement in complex software projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Extensive expertise in machine learning concepts and practical use of ML algorithms covering supervised, unsupervised learning, and deep learning.
- Familiarity or interest in computer vision, with an understanding of multimodal approaches combining text and image data.
- Ideally experience with OCR technologies, document processing, or layout analysis.
- Capability to methodically resolve complex technical challenges and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Proactive, organized, and committed to ownership and dependable delivery.
- Excellent team player with clear, solution-focused communication skills.
- Fluency in both German and English languages.
