Job description
Overview
We are looking for a seasoned AI Deployment Strategist, bringing 15 to 20 years of experience in technology and solution consulting, particularly with strong expertise in AI, machine learning, and data-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to assess the client's existing data infrastructure, systems, and readiness for AI implementation.
- Translate business challenges into clearly defined, practical use cases ready for development.
- Establish success metrics and evaluation methods prior to initiating solution development.
- Create the technical narrative within proposals or Statements of Work, including architectural outlines, risk analysis, and delivery strategies.
- Evaluate technical compliance needs, covering data residency, security, and regulatory requirements during the scoping phase.
- Collaborate closely with the Field CTO or Solution Architect to ensure the proposed scope is feasible within budget and schedule constraints.
- Manage daily interactions with clients throughout the project pursuit stage to keep technical teams focused on development tasks.
- Lead and facilitate workshops involving both business and technical stakeholders of the client.
- Maintain and update qualification and pursuit tracking for senior presales leadership.
- Develop change management strategies explaining how the client organization must adapt to the new solution.
- Take lead or co-lead roles in client oral presentations, effectively converting technical scope explanations into business cases understandable to executives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess 15 to 20 years in technology consulting with deep, practical involvement in AI, ML, or data-centric initiatives.
- Have a strong technical foundation to engage in meaningful architectural discussions beyond simple requirement gathering.
- Expertise in structured discovery techniques such as design thinking, use-case prioritization, and jobs-to-be-done frameworks.
- Familiarity with relevant AI-compliance and regulatory frameworks, including data sovereignty considerations and the EU AI Act.
- Knowledgeable of leading cloud AI platforms like Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI; awareness of open-source platforms is an advantage.
- Understanding of delivery methodologies adequate to define a viable path from proof of concept to production.
- Excellent written communication skills tailored to executive-level audiences.
- Comfortable leading time-sensitive structured workshops with senior client stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation and listening abilities to uncover underlying problems beyond surface-level client statements.
- Proven capability in executive-level client presentations and managing delicate discussions involving scope changes, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Success measured by proposal/SOW cycle efficiency and quality, client satisfaction during the pursuit phase, and accuracy in handover to delivery teams.
