Role Overview

The AI and System Engineer in Compliance Technology is tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining technological, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance compliance operations’ productivity, effectiveness, and governance. This role translates regulatory and business requirements into scalable systems supporting areas such as AML, KYC, fraud prevention, regulatory reporting, risk management, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technology solutions that automate and elevate compliance processes.
• Create AI-enabled tools for enhanced monitoring, investigations, and regulatory reporting in compliance.
• Maintain integrations, APIs, and internal applications that support compliance systems.
• Recognize automation opportunities and convert compliance requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement AI, workflow automation, and regulatory technology to improve operational workflows.
• Build dashboards and analytics for compliance decision-making and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory standards within solutions.
• Collaborate with compliance, technology, risk, and information security teams to improve systems.
• Optimize compliance applications for reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical support during audits and regulatory inspections, including documentation and evidence provision.
• Research emerging AI and compliance technologies to drive ongoing innovation.
• Establish AI governance controls to ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant AI use in compliance.
• Conduct AI risk assessments addressing model accuracy, biases, data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Continuously monitor AI models and automated applications for effectiveness, accuracy, and human oversight.
• Maintain data quality and governance across compliance systems and AI tools, ensuring data integrity and auditability.
• Utilize AI and automation to support regulatory change management by assessing impacts and facilitating implementation.
