Job Overview
Simul Digital Private Limited is seeking a highly capable and imaginative AI 3D Artist / 3D Generalist to join their team on a full-time basis at their Jodhpur, Rajasthan office. This senior-level position requires at least five years of experience and involves leveraging traditional 3D art expertise alongside modern AI-driven asset creation techniques. The role operates Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create three-dimensional assets from various inputs, including text prompts, images, sketches, and references, utilizing AI tools.
- Manually develop 3D models in cases where AI-generated results are inadequate.
- Enhance AI-generated meshes by applying techniques such as retopology, remeshing, and cleaning up geometry.
- Carry out UV mapping, texture baking, and produce PBR textures and materials.
- Work on both hard-surface and organic modeling, sculpting, and optimize assets for production use.
- Provide final, production-ready assets formatted as required.
- Continuously improve production methodologies by integrating AI and automation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Solid foundations in 3D modeling and texturing.
- Proficiency with professional 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or equivalents.
- Experience with topology and retopology, UV mapping, mesh optimization, and texture baking.
- Knowledge of PBR materials, shaders, and texture maps.
- A portfolio showcasing original 3D models, wireframes, UV layouts, textures, and personally refined AI-generated assets.
Additional Information
Candidates must prove proficiency in both AI-assisted 3D asset generation and traditional 3D modeling; experience limited to prompt-based image generation will not meet selection standards.
