Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Afterhours Logistics Specialist to join our team, working night shifts from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, totaling 40 hours weekly. The position includes one month of in-office training, followed by the possibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate order bookings with carrier companies.
• Identify and select reliable and safe carriers for freight transport services.
• Assist carriers in preparing for load assignments.
• Monitor and track the progress of freight loads.
• Collaborate closely with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to effectively manage scheduled freight shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of all relevant logistics activities.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment statuses and handle their inquiries.

Requirements

• Prior experience in transportation roles such as dispatcher, logistics specialist, or freight brokerage.
• Fluent proficiency in English, including written, spoken, and listening skills.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in using Google Docs.
