Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual passionate about facilitating impactful research to join our collaborative, high-performing team. As a Research Grants Advisor, you will play an integral role in managing externally funded research projects, supporting activities from proposal preparation to post-award compliance. You will collaborate closely with researchers, faculty research teams, and external funding agencies to provide expert advice on funding eligibility and regulations, assist with grant submissions, and ensure efficient project delivery. Familiarity with the research funding environment is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer informed guidance regarding grant opportunities, eligibility, and funding regulations.
- Support the preparation and submission processes of research proposals using key platforms such as RMS, Sapphire, and PURE.
- Assist in managing post-award activities, including tracking project milestones and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
- Maintain effective communication channels with funding bodies and internal stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Organize and promote communications about funding opportunities, including conducting workshops and engaging with researchers.
